priPrinter updates to Version 4.5.1.1354, Brings few improvements and fixes.

Fixes:
  • Japanese translation is added Posted Image
  • Mirror booklet position switch now should work properly in booklet mode.
  • Watermark placement switch: all pages, odd pages, even pages now should work properly.
  • Fixed an issue with printing rectangular or any other polyline based markups. Sometimes, it was possible that color of markups becomes wrong. Bug was related to restoring default raster operation mode.
  • Fixed an issue with printing to priPrinter when many persons are logged on. Related to Windows fast user switching feature and priPrinter dispatcher.
  • Few minor fixes in Dutch translation Posted Image
  • Fixed a crash on exit from priPrinter. Crash is related to the bug in undo manager and watermark properties dialog.

Fixes:
  • 16 px icon for "Insert symbol" is added. It's a button in Insert tab.
  • Fixed a crash with PDF generation. Related to very long document title (PRO).
  • Fixed a crash in watermarks. Related to using very long job title in macro.
  • Fixed an issude with sorting jobs in History window. Related to resaving jobs after printing.
  • Few more issues in history window are fixed. File size can be displayed incorrectly or scroller range can be set incorrectly (PRO).
  • Fixed an issue with using date/time format on machines with different user and system settings.
  • Significantly impooved archive folder clean-up.
  • All dialogs now should correctly handle large fonts.
  • Fixed an issue with attaching watermark to whole sheet of paper in booklet mode. Previously it was the same as printable area.

  • One more mode was added to "Print to Bitmaps" command. Now it is possible to print whole paper, work area or area limited by source pages.
  • Fixed a minor issue with using Close/Restore/Minimize/Maximixe buttons in Aero mode.
  • Fixed an issue with printing callouts. Sometimes callout was printed as black shape.
  • Fixed an issue with inserting some very specific OpenType fonts into .PDF documents (PDF/PRO).
  • "Change Page Background" command was improved and now it is possible to remove large, non white areas from pages.

Pelikan Software Kft. releases new version 4.0 of its priPrinter product range.

New features:
  • Brightness/Contrast controls are added.
  • Integrated Ink or Toner saving mode is improved and moved to Effects tab.
  • priPrinter dispatched is added by default. Can be removed in priPrinter options.
  • Added an ability to set open and edit passwords separately (PDF).
  • Added an ability to interactively change images compression level in order to adjust PDF file size (PDF).
  • Jobs reordering by mouse drag and drop is added.
  • Print History Panel is added (PRO).
  • Freehand mark-up tool is added.
  • Callout, Area,  and clouds tools are added. (PRO)
  • Added an ability to define border and background of watermarks and text items.
  • Added an ability to change default style of watermarks or inserted texts and graphics. For instance default style of page numbers can be changed to Page N of NN Pages.
  • Watermarks resizing by mouse is added.
  • Watermarks, callouts and all mark-ups can be bounded to source pages, instead of all pages in previous versions.
  • Text search is improved. Now with some animtion in order to help user to locate founded text.
  • Now job can be saved to multipage tiff.
  • In save as bitmaps user can specify ranges of pages to save.
  • Watermark button now can be customized.

  • priPrinter was optimized in many different ways in order to provide better response and performance.
  • Many improvements related to PDF file size (PDF).
  • Many internal changes related to speed and stability. For instance priPrinter can handle very heavy jobs much faster.


Fixes:
  • Fixed an issue with printing from IE8/IE9 in Windos Vista or Windows 7.
