Speed
priPrinter was optimized in many different ways in order to provide better response and performance.

• Page List window now works in separate thread and should not slow down entire print preview experience.
  
• 3D Window performs rendering in a separate thread and now should produce faster and smoother animations.
  
• Many minor optimizations related to document loading and printing.

Standard Edition - New Features

• Added an ability to select "single page layout" for any page while rest pages are in multiple pages layout. Could be used to create cover pages.
  
• Added an additional alignment mode for N-up layout. Previously page was centered in the virtual grid, now this behavior could be changed.

Professional Edition - New Features

• Ability to make a rectangular selection was added. This selection could be used to delete and redact page contents.
  
• Many PDF related improvements.
  
• Added an ability to generate URL links for PDF file.
  
• Now PDF could be save from standard Save As dialog.

Other minor changes and fixes

• Added an ability to resize shape items with SHIFT key (uniform scaling).
  
• Minor cosmetic changes in UI.
  
• Bug with printing 16 bit .PNG images is fixed.
  
• Job Info dialog. Now with image zoom in/out buttons.
  
• Zoom by double click is fixed, not it should zoom to correct part of page.

The new priPrinter 3.2 is available. This version brings an ability to make text corrections right in print preview!

New features:

• Single installer for 32 and 64 bit versions.
  
• Added an ability to select text by keyboard.
  
• Added an ability to change attributes of selected text including: font, size, bold, italic, underline and strikethrough.
  
• Selected text could be moved across the page with help of mouse.
  
• Text correction is added.
  
• Search is improved.
  
• Text replace is added.
  
• Paste text is added.
  
• Zoom by left mouse double click is added. This option is configurable.
  
• Added an ability to insert current date/time into .priprinter file name.

Fixes:

• Text and graphics clipped by "crop and cut tool" should be completely removed from PDF file. (PDF)
  
• In case of multiple copies, priPrinter will generate only one copy and will tell printer how many copies should be printed. Previously, priPrinter generated separate page for each copy.
  
• Many small fixes.

Budapest, Hungary (12 April 2010) - Pelikan Software LFT is proud to announce that priPrinter is improved and more powerful. The new 3.1 version is ready to take your prints on a higher level.

The changes are:

• Optional JPEG Image compression is added to printer driver. It helps to reduce priPrinter file size and significantly reduce print preview delay with image heavy documents.
  
• Watermarks are fully rewritten in order to support RTL Watermarks (Arabic and Hebrew scripts for example).
  
• Cut-Up booklet is added.
  
• Additional image offset and scaling is implemented. May be good for some printers.
  
• Spinners (Up-Down controls) are added.
  
• Comment is added to theme save dialog.
  
• “bi-level” watermark setting is now part of theme file.
  
• “collated” is now ON by default.
  
• Added ability to print each copy as separate job. May be used by printers with stapling feature.

It's a minor update. In case if you do not have any problem with priPrinter you may skip this update.

• Fixed a crash with creating new priPrinter printer. Crash is related to creating new printer from priPrinter Options menu.
  
• Few fixes in German translation.
  
• Fixed a minor bug with updating printer defintion via internet.
  
• Minor changes in page flip 3d animation. Now paper sheet should not intersect printer body in case if printer is too large.
  
• Minor fix related to page selection. It is about right mouse click on non selected page in page list window.
